Foundation Learning Lecturers

1x role in Ealing 
1x role in Hammersmith 

Ealing position - 16 hours per week - Potential temp to Perm starting in September 
Hammersmith position - 23 hours per week - Potential temp to Perm starting in September 

Both roles paying hourly at £29.84 per hour initially then to £36,500 - £44,000 once permanent 

The role;
The successful candidate will be key to ensuring the successful integration of employability, vocational, English and math's skills within the curriculum.
The wellbeing and safeguarding of our learners are essential, and as a Foundation Learning Lecturer, the role involves providing education, training and skills development within a safe environment. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished lecturer with experience in teaching students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, low levels of English and math's ability and requiring the skills needed to get back into education.

They will be monitoring each learner’s progress using Promonitor by setting targets and creating progression plans tailored to individual aspirations and skills. They will have experience managing and creating professional relationships with the learner’s parents/carers, external agencies, the Heads of Departments and Deputy Heads.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experience working with learners with additional learning needs (SEN/ SEND/ PMLD etc) 
  • Experience delivering low level English, Math's, Employability programs 
  • A teaching qualification (preferred but not essential) 
  • Maths and English Level 2 or above
