College Maintenance Officer
Hammersmith
Full time positions available at each site
Shift patterns are 8am-4pm (Mon to Fri) minus 1 hour unpaid lunch
Temporary on-going
£19.94 per hour
Duties include;
- Usual maintenance type jobs like repairs, overseeing the upkeep of buildings, regular college patrols of grounds etc.
- There is also a requirement setting up furniture in rooms before teaching, delivering parcels and post.
- The only thing which is slightly different from a standard portering job is that there is a requirement to help with flushing taps to reduce Legionella risk. It's simply running taps for 15 mins, noting time on and off and full training will be given
Have you got what it takes?
- Experience working within Maintenance/ Grounds/ Porters positions
- Experience with general building repairs and ground maintenance
