CELTA Trainer

Are you an experienced CELTA Trainer with a passion for developing the next generation of English language teachers? We are seeking a qualified and knowledgeable trainer to deliver an intensive 4-week CELTA programme for a key external client, starting as soon as possible.

Role: CELTA Trainer

Location: Hammersmith
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 Weeks
Hours: 23 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• 3 full working days
• 2 half working days
• Some flexibility available, so candidates are encouraged to advise their preferred working pattern

Pay Rate

• £33.10 per hour preferred
• Up to £37.79 per hour may be considered for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess the CELTA qualification to trainee teachers
• Provide high-quality training, coaching, and feedback throughout the programme
• Support trainees in meeting CELTA standards and assessment requirements
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
• Ensure the course is delivered to awarding body and client expectations

Essential Requirements

• Hold a CELTA qualification
• Previous experience delivering and assessing CELTA programmes
• Strong understanding of English language teaching methodology
• Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and supportive training to adult learners

Desirable

• Experience working with external clients and delivering intensive teacher training programmes
• Relevant teaching qualifications and substantial ESOL/EFL teaching experience
